The GeoOp timer enables you to keep track of the time that you are working on your jobs. Clock-out once you're done for the day and convert that time into a Labour Charge.

To start/stop a timer on a job, simply tap on the timer button located below the description field.

Important: you cannot have 2 timers running at the same time on 2 different jobs. You will be asked to stop and save any timer before to start a new one.

When you stop the timer, you will have two options:

  1. Save the timer as Labour Charge: this will calculate the duration of the timer at that point and create a corresponding Labour Charge. For example, if your timer has been running for 2 hours, it will create a 2 hours Labour Charge

  2. Discard the timer: if you choose to discard your timer, it will be lost and cannot be recovered

Saving a timer as Labour Charge

After stopping a timer and choosing "Save as labour", you will need to choose what rate to assign to that new charge.

You have two options:

  1. Search and select a rate from the company list saved by your GeoOp Administrator ;

  2. Enter a custom rate.
